General Questions
What is included in the company formation service?
Our company formation service includes preparation of all required ARBK registration documents, digital form completion support, and guided workflow through the entire registration process. Government filing fees are not included.
How long does company formation take?
Once all documents are submitted and payment is completed, the typical processing time is 3-5 business days, depending on ARBK processing times.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept online payments through Paysera, which supports bank transfers, credit/debit cards, and various local payment methods.
Are government fees included in the price?
No. All prices shown are service fees only. Government charges, official filing fees, notary costs, translation fees, and other third-party costs are excluded unless expressly stated.
What company types can you register in Kosovo?
We support all ARBK company types including LLC (SHPK), individual business, general partnership, limited partnership, joint stock company (SHA), foreign company branch, and representative office.
Can I form a company remotely without being in Kosovo?
Yes. The entire process is fully digital. You can upload documents through our platform, fill out interactive forms, and track the process remotely. A power of attorney can be used when needed.
Is there a minimum capital requirement?
For an LLC (SHPK), the minimum capital is €1. However, a higher initial capital is recommended for banking operations and credit applications.
Do you offer a guarantee on your services?
We guarantee the quality of document preparation. In case of rejection by ARBK or government agencies, we make corrections free of charge. Government filing fees are non-refundable.

What documents do I need for company formation?
You will need a valid passport or ID, proof of address, and information about shareholders and directors. Our platform provides a complete checklist and upload workflow after you purchase the service.
Can I use a virtual business address?
Yes! Our 1-year business address service provides a professional Prishtinë address for your company. This includes a lease agreement and all official documentation required for ARBK registration.
How does the accounting service work?
After purchasing, you get access to a monthly upload workspace where you upload invoices, receipts, bank statements, and contracts. Our accountants process everything, ensure ATK compliance, and provide monthly reports.
Can I add employees/workers to my company?
Yes. Our worker registration module allows you to register employees with ATK-compliant forms, manage personal information, employment contract details, and salary information digitally.
What happens after I pay?
After payment, an invoice is generated automatically and your service workspace becomes active in the client portal. You can then complete interactive forms, upload documents, and track progress.
Do you handle business amendments?
Yes. We support all ARBK amendment types: name, address, capital, activity, directors, shareholders, phone/email, employee count, and branch changes — each prepared digitally for €9.99.
Do you help with residence permit applications?
Yes. We prepare the residence permit application form digitally. Required document checklist, interactive form completion, and PDF export are included. We also provide application tracking and appointment guidance.
What is the billing entity?
All invoices and billing records are issued by KS Law Consultancy LLC, our registered legal entity in Kosovo. The public-facing brand is Kosova Investment Joint Venture.
Accounting & Tax
What exactly is included in the €9.99/mo accounting service?
For non-VAT registered companies (annual turnover below €30,000), we provide full-scope service: monthly bookkeeping, income-expense records, tax return preparation, ATK (Administrata Tatimore e Kosovës) compliance, employee payroll support, and monthly financial reports.
What is the accounting fee for VAT-registered companies?
For VAT-registered companies (annual turnover above €30,000), the monthly fee is €99.99. This includes monthly VAT declarations (1st–20th of each month), full bookkeeping, income-expense records, TAK/ATK tax compliance, financial statement preparation, and dedicated senior accountant support.
Can I get accounting services for past months?
Yes. You can purchase accounting services for current and past months. Select the specific months you need and our team will handle catch-up accounting — including bookkeeping, filings, and ATK compliance.
What taxes are paid in Kosovo?
Corporate tax in Kosovo is 10% (one of Europe's lowest). VAT is 18% (8% for food and medicine). Personal income tax is progressive from 0–10%. Social insurance contributions are 5% employer + 5% employee = 10% total.
What is ATK and why is it important?
ATK (Administrata Tatimore e Kosovës) is the Kosovo Tax Administration. All companies must be registered with ATK and file regular tax returns. Delays and non-compliance can result in significant fines. Our accounting service ensures full ATK compliance.
How do I upload my accounting documents?
Your client dashboard has a dedicated upload area for each month. You can upload invoices, receipts, bank statements, and contracts. PDF, JPG, PNG, DOC, and XLSX formats are supported. Total storage limit is 250MB.
Is e-Invoice mandatory?
Yes. In Kosovo, all VAT-registered businesses are required to issue invoices through the e-Invoice system. We provide guidance on e-Invoice integration and compliance.
Legal & Compliance
Can foreign nationals start a company in Kosovo?
Yes. Kosovo allows 100% foreign-owned company formation. Citizens of any country can establish a company without any local partner requirement.
Can I operate a company without a residence permit?
Yes, a residence permit is not required for company formation. However, if you plan to physically reside and work in Kosovo, you will need a residence and work permit. You can also manage your company remotely through a director or power of attorney.
How is a power of attorney (autorizim) arranged?
A power of attorney is prepared as a notarized document in your country of residence. An apostille may be required. With a power of attorney, a representative can handle ARBK, banking, and government transactions on your behalf.
Is it difficult to open a bank account in Kosovo?
No. After company registration, you can open a bank account with ARBK documents, company seal, and director ID. Major banks in Kosovo include TEB, ProCredit, Raiffeisen, NLB, and BKT. The process typically takes 1-3 business days.
What is the employee registration process?
Each employee must be registered with ATK and an employment contract must be signed. Our platform includes an ATK-compliant employee registration form. Personal details, job type, start date, salary, and social insurance information are entered. Employment contract templates can also be prepared.

Is the platform available in my language?
The platform supports English, Turkish, and Albanian. All pages, forms, client portal, and email notifications are fully available in all three languages. You can change your language preference from the dashboard at any time.
Are my documents safe?
Yes. All documents are uploaded via encrypted connection and stored on secure servers. Only you and our authorized team can access your documents. We comply with GDPR-equivalent data protection standards.
Can I use the platform on mobile?
Yes. The platform has a fully responsive design and works seamlessly on smartphones, tablets, and computers. Form completion, document upload, and order tracking are all available on mobile.
Can I view my transaction history and invoices?
Yes. Your client dashboard lists all your orders, invoices, uploaded documents, and service statuses in detail. You can download invoices as PDF.
