Kosovo offers several types of business entities. Choose the right structure for your needs.
Individual Business
Simplest form of business in Kosovo. Owned and operated by a single person, with unlimited personal liability.
Limited Liability Company (LLC)
Most popular business type in Kosovo. Shareholders are only liable up to their share contributions. Requires minimum €1.
Joint Stock Company (JSC)
Suitable for large enterprises. Capital divided into shares. Requires minimum €10,000.
General Partnership
Two or more persons carrying on a business for profit. All partners bear unlimited liability.
Limited Partnership
Partnership with at least one general partner (unlimited) and one limited partner (limited liability).
Foreign Company Branch
A foreign company can register a branch office in Kosovo under the parent company.
Representative Office
For marketing and liaison only. Cannot conduct commercial activities.
Agricultural Cooperative
Formed by at least 5 farmers for joint operations. Registered through K-0 form.
